This smoothies have been tried and tested and actually taste really good! Let's be honest, sneaking vegetables into a smoothie can be a whole lot easier than eating raw veggies, especially during pregnancy. Here are the directions:
Serves 3 people (3 glasses)
- Freezer Bag (I used Ziploc but a vacuum sealed bag would work amazing if you have one!)
- 2 cups raw greens (I did 2/3 spinach, 2/3 collard, 2/3 kale)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup fresh/frozen fruit
- When blending, just add water, 1/2 cup at a time until you reach the desired consistancy
The three flavor combinations that I have done so far are:
*Spinach, Collard, Kale, Banana, Strawberry
*Spinach, Collard, Kale, Banana, Apple
*Spinach, Collard, Kale, Banana, Orange
