Green Smoothie Freezer Packs

This smoothies have been tried and tested and actually taste really good! Let's be honest, sneaking vegetables into a smoothie can be a whole lot easier than eating raw veggies, especially during pregnancy. Here are the directions:

Serves 3 people (3 glasses)

- Freezer Bag (I used Ziploc but a vacuum sealed bag would work amazing if you have one!)

- 2 cups raw greens (I did 2/3 spinach, 2/3 collard, 2/3 kale)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup fresh/frozen fruit
- When blending, just add water, 1/2 cup at a time until you reach the desired consistancy

The three flavor combinations that I have done so far are:

*Spinach, Collard, Kale, Banana, Strawberry
*Spinach, Collard, Kale, Banana, Apple
*Spinach, Collard, Kale, Banana, Orange

Tiffany Blue Wedding Punch

I put this picture from my wedding up on Pinterest and wouldn't you know it? A month later I had over 1000 pins! So I figured I'd let everyone in on this delightful concoction, it is Country Time Lemonade and Blue Koolaid. That's it!

-The base will be the Country Time Lemonade prepared with their directions.

-Next you will make the blue Koolaid as their packet directs and add it in increments to the lemonade to get the desired blue.

-For a lighter color, poor less Koolaid into the lemonade and for a darker color add more! It is completely personal preference and customizable.

*Note- this is for a large crowd, if you desire this drink for a smaller crowd just add pinches of the Blue Koolaid powder to the prepared Country Time Lemonade*

Enjoy!

Might I add to use clear cups so the color of the drink can get admired more!

Sandcastle Cake

So it's summer and you want to impress your neighbors, family and friends with a cute crafty "I did it myself" cake right? Here's a perfectly edible Sandcastle Cake! What says summer like sandcastles? Quite simple really, the real key in this one how you assemble everything together, so be creative!

Ok here's all you need.

 -Round or square backing pan
 -A box of cake mix(s)
 -Ground graham crackers
 -Ice cream cones
-Marshmallow cream/frosting to stick the cones together and to stick the cones to the plate if needed
  -Life savors, swedish fish, etc...

I actually used cheesecake with a graham cracker crust so it actually came together quick nicely! Or messily? But that's what "real" sandcastles look like right. I think I'll play with this again someday and make it a tiered cake.

(If you can tell, the cake is cut in half because we were throwing a half birthday party that day!)
